Wanted: Blackberry users for fun, frolics and high-speed messaging

SMS Text News has a story about Pinppl, a new social networking service for owners of the Blackberry messaging device. It’s apparently designed to make it easier to find people to chat up talk to using Blackberry’s PIN messaging function.

It’s a novel idea, but I can’t help thinking that a) most Blackberry users are surely too high-powered to have time for text-based flirtation, and b) aren’t they all middle-aged blokes in pin-striped suits anyway?

Oh, and c) when you say Pinppl, it sounds a bit like ‘pimple’, which isn’t the best image to have in mind when using a social networking site. Insert your own MySpace-teens-acne joke here.
