Location-based gaming is an experimental area on mobile. There’s a number of games available which use the location of your handset as part of the gameplay, but they’ve mainly been for early adopters.
This could change in the future, which is a lead into this video (below) of Elina Koivisto, a research engineer at Nokia’s Multimedia Technology Laboratory in Finland, talking about the future for location-based massively multiplayer games.
