Health-SMS healthy text messaging

nurse.jpgFed up of constantly being pushed advice by experts on the television about how you’re ruining your body with those nightly kebabs and morning Absinthe shots? Well, now your phone’s going to start nagging too. But only if you want it to.

A new service called Health-SMS, lets you fill out your profile online based on common health issues, and then sends you info and advice by text-message based on what you’ve said. Oh, and you can text it particular keywords – topics include obesity and safe sex, for example – and get instant information back. It’s been launched by the NHS, in partnership with mobile firms 123 Consultants and Clickatell. To register, click on the link below.
