If a picture is worth a thousand words, then how much is a video worth etc etc etc. I’ve heard that catchphrase used so many times. But sometimes it is relevant. We write about a lot of mobile applications here on Pocket Picks, but there’s no substitute for actually seeing them in action.
Which brings me neatly onto the video below, which is a quick run-through of the Gmail Mobile application. You can get it by pointing your phone’s WAP browser to the address http://gmail.com/app (it says US and Canada only, but I’m in the UK and it works fine for me). Anyway, enjoy. Sorry for the slight robot effect on the sound. That’s not a technical bug. I just sound a bit like a robot.
