Video-sharing website YouTube is gradually getting its act together on mobile, making it easier for people to upload videos from their cameraphones. But it’s facing competition from new upstart Moblr, which claims to be the world’s first free mobile video sharing service.
It’s launched today, and lets people upload videos directly from their handset, but crucially also allows you to watch other people’s from your phone too – something YouTube still hasn’t got sussed. You can also set the site to send a text message to your friends and family when you upload a new vid, as well as assigning tags to help other people find it.
