21. Check whether your bid on that “as-new” home gym is still in the lead by using the Pocket Auctions application, which gives you full access to eBay.
22. Dress up as a pirate and send a snap of yourself to the official Pirates Of The Carribbean moblog. Arrr!
23. Chuck out that G4 album your nan bought you for Christmas, and get into some cutting-edge Brazilian nose-trumpet samba sounds, via Nokia’s Music Recommenders community, which lets you browse cool tracks and download them to your phone.
24. Sign up your friends for a mobile group hug (or should that be GRP HG?) using the Hotxt service, which lets you send an unlimited number of messages to other users for £1 a week. Which is cheaper than the 876 texts you sent last night for New Year’s Eve…
25. Get in early to the budding mobile magazine industry by creating your own Tocmag, which is a mini-mag that people can download to their phones. Suggestions for topical content: hangover cures, unrealistic resolutions, dictator death pics.
26. Start the new year with a new car! Or, if you can’t afford that, at least have a dribble over Vauxhall’s all-new Corsa via the company’s mobile internet site. It’s got that band, The C’mons, in it. You know, the ones that look like a bunch of soft toys rescued from a charity shop.
27. Buy a pay-as-you-go VISA voucher and hit the mobile sales. Way more fun than elbowing old ladies out of the way in M&S to reach that last box of half-price crackers.
28. Give yourself a fright by downloading When Evil Calls, the first ever made-for-mobile horror show. It’s got clowns in! Fear clowns…
29. Learn to shuffle up and deal like the pros, with the World Series Of Poker: Player Advisor application, which sits on your mobile giving you hints and strategy for playing a mean game of Texas Hold’em poker. Although using it while actually in a casino is presumably frowned upon.
30. Surf the irony zeitgeist by downloading all manner of Hasselhoff-related mobile content from Hoff My Phone. Although that’s a bit 2006 if you ask us. 2007′s kitsch retro icon is more likely to be Columbo, Playschool’s Derek Griffiths, or Crazy Frog.
