Vodafone McLaren Mercedes handsets

770SH_closed_preview.jpgFormula 1? Boring. Formula 1 handsets? Ace! So I’m happy to report that Vodafone has launched three new special-edition phones to celebrate its sponsorship of the new McLaren Mercedes F1 team (that’ll be the one they dumped Ferrari for).

Two of the handsets – the 770SH and GX29 – are made by Sharp, while the third – the SGH-Z720M – is made by Samsung. All are styled after the F1 team’s colours, and include customised ringtones and a game based on the team. Trust me, you’ll want to gaze at them for hours on end. Which will at least be more interesting than watching an average F1 race.
