Desperate for a feature-packed phone with a QWERTY keyboard? T-Mobile may have the answer. The carrier’s European division has re-packaged the hefty HTC Athena handset and is rolling it out across the continent under the new Ameo monicker. At 133.1 x 97 x 20mm (including a 4mm thick detachable keyboard) and 355g it’s no slimline model, but it does feature a 5″ TFT display, 8GB hard drive, 3 megapixel camera, 624MHz Intel XScale processor and built-in GPS. It’s more of a teeny notebook PC than a phone.
According to Engadget it comes with three styli – two traditional and one ‘multi-function’ pen. Just how much does the average user want to do with their stylus? Actually, don’t answer that.
