It’s thin (8.4mm), it has a 4:3 display (which means its screen is wider than it is tall), and it’s launching in Japan this March. It’s the 708SC. Targeted at businesspeople (see how admirably PC we are), the Samsung-built 708SC drops the gimmicks that are commonly seen in phones in the current Japanese market. It delivers a 260,000-colour TFT display, for example, but no One-Seg reception. After all, who needs TV when they’re always working?
