From next month, 3 will be offering a bunch of free videos on its portal, funded by advertising. They’ll include news, comedy, celebrity gossip, cartoons and “film” (presumably trailers, rather than full-length movies).
Companies advertising on the service will include Microsoft and Unilever. Before watching the free stuff for the first time, you’ll have to enter your age and gender, which 3 will use to target ads that are most likely to be relevant to you.
