Google phone rumour ping pong

Google logoOkay, this is getting out-of-hand… On one side we have Mad 4 Mobiles picking up a story from the Guardian, claiming that Google is, ‘believed to have hired the team who created the Sidekick mobile device which T-Mobile launched more than two years ago.’ On the other, we have Engadget picking up quotes from Google SE Asia MD Richard Kimber stating that, “At this point in time, we are very focused on the software, not the phone.” So does that mean you are working on a phone, then?

Seems like one way or another, the Google boffins are up to something phone related… It’s just not clear what. Doubtless we’ll be back with more on these stories soon.
