Korea’s LG has announced a new mid-spec, slide-design handset, the SV80, although only in its native country so far. The 101.4 x 48 x 23.8 mm handset weights in at 105g and comes with 140MB internal RAM and a QVGA (240 x 320) 2″ screen.
LG seems happy – at least in Korea – to suggest that the Motorola Z8-style curve of the SV80 makes it a ‘banana phone’, although we think that kind of does a disservice to a pretty nice looking phone.
