But only in online world Second Life, unfortunately (well, unless it was drizzling 37″ flat screen TVs – that would be kinda painful). To promote its new handsets in Japan, Samsung has followed in the footsteps of various other consumer product manufacturers by promoting them in Linden Lab’s virtual world.
We’re not quite sure why the phones were raining (something to do with their thin design, apparently), but once you’ve answered a few simple questions in Japanese, Samsung is giving away the virtual phones for free.
