Paspic: biometric passport photos using your phone

paspic.jpgThis service has been around for a while now, but it’s got some new features – and the increasing number of two-megapixel cameraphones means more people are likely to make use of it.

Basically, Paspic turns your mugshots into passport-sized prints. You simply upload photos, it runs checks to make sure they’re compliant with the new biometric passport regulations, then turns them into prints for you.

There isn’t a direct mobile angle – you have to use the website to upload your photo – but assuming you have a new enough cameraphone and a handy white background, there’s no reason why you can’t use mobile snaps.
