Just a short post to note that rumours have started on the web that one of the next tricks up Sony Ericsson’s sleeve might be a sister phone for the new P1i (shown here), dubbed ‘P3i’. The recently-announced P1i is an evolution of the popular P990, but it’s not clear whether the P3i would sit above or below the P1i in the SE line-up.
Sony Ericsson is thought to be ready to announce new handsets in the very near future — perhaps next week — including the five-megapixel camera equipped ‘Sofia’, and the recently-leaked ‘Shinobu’ Walkman slider. But given that the P1i has only just been announced, we’d be surprised if a stablemate popped out next week.
