Hey, mobile phones can be A Force For Good, y’know. For some examples, check out a new website called ShareIdeas.org, which has been launched by Nokia and Vodafone. It describes itself as ‘a global wiki community’ about ‘mobile knowledge for social change’.
Eh? It’s a collection of case studies of people using mobile technology to benefit mankind (i.e. not just sending round naked snaps of your drunk mate Dave after a party). If you’re at all involved in activism or volunteer work, it’s well worth a look to get some ideas.
