You can already watch YouTube videos on your mobile phone, courtesy of its initial deal with Vodafone, and more recently its standalone mobile internet site and an embedded iPhone application. But now YouTube has taken steps to make it easier to upload videos from your phone, with a new partnership with LG.
It’ll involve handsets coming out at the end of this year, and although the two companies haven’t released details, presumably it’ll mean giving you an option, when you’ve shot a video clip, to upload it directly. We expect YouTube to negotiate similar deals with other handset manufacturers in the near future too.
At least, that would be the sensible thing to do…
