Steve Balmer gets whacked by iPhone’s first game

Game Screen.jpgThe first iPhone game has appeared on the freshly launched Fun4iPhone courtesy of MyNuMo. The browser based title, iWhack, features Steve Balmer doing his best Gene Simmons impression, popping out of various holes in the ground. It is the job of Apple evangelicals (we are mobile agnostics here) to whack Balmer back down into the mucky depths.

Clearly the game a little jibe at the Microsoft rebel chieftain who has been openly sceptical about the iPhone’s credentials as a must have gadget.

“Our goal was to create a fun game for the iPhone that would appeal to game players and iPhone fans.” commented MyNuMo President Sherri Cuono.

Hmmm, call us cynics but we can’t help but get the feeling that wasn’t MyNuMo’s only goal.

New? Don’t miss our huge archive of iPhone coverage.
