Files found in hacked iPhone strongest indication of Euro carriers yet

apple-iphone_400x4002.jpgAn interesting detail has cropped up via Mac Rumours regarding the iPhone’s European carrier. Through hacking/modification efforts the full file listing for the iPhone has been found and among them are logo images for T-Mobile and Vodafone alongside Cingular and AT & T. The file names uncovered were:

Now you don’t need a deerstalker, a magnifying glass and a dutiful assistant called Watson to figure out that this (if true) is a pretty major indication of who will win the iPhone contract in Europe. Our money is on T-Mobile taking care of Germany with most other countries going to Vodafone. Rumours on who will distribute the iPhone in Europe are approaching fever pitch so expect official confirmation on this before too long.
