Samsung’s new entry level handset, the SGH-E236, has just shown its colours and is looking rather more attractive than lower end phones of the past.
Aimed squarely at the music lover on a budget, the E236 clamshell includes a quirky green speaker ring-thing as well as some up front music controls on its face. Making use of these features is a MP3/ ACC music player as well as a microSD card slot for bumping up the storage.
After that the specs take a tumble with a 0.3 megapixel camera and a scrawny 128 x 160 display. On the plus side the price is likely to reflect these shortcomings and with such a robust set of music features it is hard to fault the E236 as an entry level handset.
