O2’s surprisingly interesting Cocoon handset has landed on the operator’s ‘coming soon’ pages, with a due date of August. Featuring an internal QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) screen, 2GB of internal storage plus support for another 2GB on microSD card, the Cocoon also has an external display that can show the time, the beginning of text messages, music track info and RDS data from the phone’s FM radio. With the handset also featuring a 3.5mm headphone socket, the features add up to make one pretty cool music phone, we think.
