News of Samsung i550 smartphone with built-in GPS

i500.jpgWe don’t know where GSM Arena is getting its stories from but its gone and leaked news of yet another upcoming Samsung handset – the i550 Symbian Series 60 smartphone with built-in GPS. This new story comes straight after yesterday’s news of the Korean’s G800 five-megapixel camera phone with optical zoom.

This is Samsung’s first ever GPS-enabled phone and comes packed with a host of top line features. Along with its sat nav capabilities you get 3.6Mbps flavoured HSPDA, a 3.2-megapixel snapper and a generously sized 2.6-inch display. On the music front comes a built-in player, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone adapter while storage is handled by 128MB internal memory and microSD card slot. Considering the features on board, the i550 is also relatively compact and slimline, measuring just 115 x 53 x 13.8 mm. unsurprisingly at this stage there is no news of availability and price.
