Carphone expected to have Sony Ericsson P1i for 8th August

Carphone Warehouse has issued some expected release dates for upcoming phones on its website here, the most interesting of which is the Sony Ericsson P1i. This has been given an in store release date of 8th August. It’s fashion candybar stable mate the T650i is down for a 23rd August launch while the next generation slimline MOTORAZR 2 V8 (that’s the 2.75G version and not the HSDPA V9 model) will appear in store the same day as the P1i.

Another highly anticipated handset, the slinky five-megapixel camera packing Samsung G600 is also set to drop on 25th August, the date promised by the Korean manufacturer. All these dates are when Carphone is expecting the handsets to arrive so don’t be disappointed if they’re not there when you turn up first thing to collect your shiny new phone.
