Mobstar stages free mobile V-Festival survival kit with virtual lighter

With monsoon season now petering out (although with global warming at the helm who can tell), perhaps we can now start to enjoy the summer music festivals without fear of drowning in a sea of mud and goo. Virgin Mobile’s V-Festival is the next biggie to experience, but despite the weather improvement festivals can still be treacherous places to work your way around, especially after several cans of scrumpy. That’s why Mobstar’s mobile festival survival kit could be indispensable.

In the virtual survival pack you get a mobile spotlight to help you make your way back to you tent in the pitch dark and a flashing screensaver that acts a locator beacon should you get disorientated (code for blind drunk) and split from your friends. Best of all is the virtual lighter to wave above your head during those anthemic ballads. All we need now is The Scorpions to copter in and play ‘Wings of Change’ and we’re in business. We tried to download the kit by texting ‘VFEST’ to 82330 but were told we need a Virgin Mobile WAP browser to proceed. One for Virgin Mobile customers then.
