Nokia has united all its new internet services under one gateway and christened it Ovi. Meaning ‘door’ in Finnish, Ovi is an umbrella portal that allows access to Nokia’s new Music Store, Nokia Maps and N-Gage games, as well as exisiting social networks and communities.
Ovi is scheduled to go live sometime in Q4 in English and is expected to roll out in different languages and regions well into early 2008. You will be able to access Ovi on Nokia devices and via your PC with content and services continually expanding and evolving over time.
