The winners of the 2007 Portable Film Festival ‘Hopper’ awards have just been announced, with the Grand Hopper prize going to Craig Rosenthal’s utterly deserving ‘The Trainee’ (click here to watch). Rosenthal’s film (above) about a hapless, first-time, convenience store thief, lead a pack of category winners which included Lo Fi St. Louis by Bill Streeter and India Railway Tour by Sherwin Akbarzadeh.
If you missed out on the voting, don’t despair as the five category winners and the 145 other short films that were entered are still available to download to your mobile — for free — over at the Portable Film Festival website.
