We are sure that there are plenty of used car salesmen out there who are perfectly trustworthy but the reputation does exist for a reason and when it comes to shelling out for a new set of wheels, it’s best not to take any chances.
Luckily you no longer need to thanks to the media company Emap, which has just launched a new WAP version of its car buyers guide site, Parkers. The service includes what is promised to be an easy to use valuation tool, a comprehensive list of car reviews and a direct feed from the motoring magazine Car for up to the minute news. So the next time you are confronted by a chap like in the picture to the right, you should be armed with enough knowledge to ensure you don’t pay over the odds for an old banger.
The site launches officially on the 21st (tomorrow). Here’s to no more lugging around a bulky copy of Autotrader.
