Following a protracted silence following the announcement of the iPhone’s other initial European debuts, Apple and Orange have finally revealed that the handset will hit French shelves on November 29th, priced at €399 (£279).
However, nothing has been said so far about France’s legal requirement which stipulates that it must be possible to unlock a handset after six months of ownership. If that applies to the iPhone then all we can say is vive la France!
