iPhone is the fourth best selling phone in the US

iphone-camera-flash.jpgA fresh set of figures from Strategy Analytics have revealed that the iPhone is AT&T’s top selling device, accounting for 13 percent of the companies overall handset sales. According to Barry Gilbert, VP of the Strategy Analytics BuyerTRAX programs, this places the iPhone as the 4th top selling handset in the US.

Quite an impressive feat and no mistake, especially seeing as the device has only been out a few months. Will the iPhone manage to sustain the momentum it has built? We’re going to go with probably, if not with the current SKU, then with other devices under the iPhone brand.

Although this statistic is impressive, Apple is still going to need to work hard to achieve that one year worldwide one percent market share goal it has set itself. Hurry Apple, there are only nine months left!
