O2 gets exclusive Led Zep content

Led Zeppelin1.jpgHot on the heels of Led Zeppelin’s announcement that they’re finally releasing their back catalogue for mobile and digital downloads, O2 has tied up exclusive content from them.

O2 has signed a deal with record label Warner Music UK, to offer Led Zeppelin mobile content exclusively until November 12th.

Led Zeppelin have sold over 300 million albums and are still hugely popular. Their one-off gig at The O2 at the end of next month saw millions sign up for one of 10,000 tickets.

As part of the deal, O2 is offering its customers who download an exclusive ringtone the chance to win one of six tickets to this show, plus a ticket to the sound check the day before. There’s also some other prices of box sets, framed artwork and other stuff.

The ringtones cost £1.50, and O2 is also offering Mastertones (its equivalent of downloadable tracks) for 22 tracks including Stairway To Heaven, All Of My Love and When The Levee Breaks.
