iPhone Nano spy shots – real or fake?

iPhone Nano.jpgEven before the iPhone was launched, there was speculation of the iPhone Nano and mock-up pics are not had to come by with a simple Google search (though it should be noted that they are all fan made creations).

Apple has remained mum on the subject but the general consensus has been that it is not a matter of if but when. The plot has now officially thickened as images that are claimed to be spy shots of the iPhone Nano have emerged on the Dutch tech site gadgetzone.

The site insists that the pics are real and were taken by an insider at Apple. Not only that but the site has offered a few details about the device claiming that it is only 8cm long as opposed to the daddy iPhone’s 11.5cm and that it has tactile feedback on its touchscreen, vibration and 4GB of flash memory.

Of course we are going to keep our eyebrows firmly raised and our skepticism fairly high on this one for now. There is a very good chance that this is merely a Chinese knock off device that someone wants to drum up a bit of attention with.

Even so the 4GB claim would make sense considering the 4GB iPhone has been discontinued and if this is a mock up, it’s a very pretty one indeed.

The size may not be such a problem. The onscreen button symbols might be the same size as the iPhone 3G, but have less per page, so you’d have to scroll sideways to see more.

As for the keypad, maybe you have to turn the phone on its side for this function. This would give more width for each key.

I must say that I would rather wait for a 32gb iPhone MkIII.

Just seen a video that could be the iPhone nano, a site called iphonekungfu just posted it. They don’t normally do rumours, I get free ringtones from them but thought this was interesting, wonder if any other blogs will pick up on it??

fake….if it’s real they would have taken a picture of the back with the apple logo…or at least a pic with the device turned on.
