Cor, Halo 3 on the iPhone! I can’t imagine how the touchscreen controls work, but I can’t wait to be fragging those Xbox 360 n00bz on my Apple handset over Wi-Fi! Wow! Oh, hang on a minute…
Okay, so Microsoft hasn’t chosen to release Halo 3 for iPhone just yet. But Halo 3 Stats is the next best thing: an iPhone-friendly application that lets you check your latest online figures from the Xbox 360 FPS. Using your Xbox Live Gamertag, it shows you your ranking, highest skill, and other stats including kills, deaths and K/D ratio (for me, that’s about 1:4,096, sadly).
There’s also a Recent Games section that lets you dig into your last ten online games, showing your kills, deaths and assists. It’s anyone’s guess how sizeable the demographic of Halo 3-playing iPhone owners is, but this app targets it very well.
