EQ AltTab lets you multitask with ease

eq alttabOne of the first ‘power user’ tricks that you learn on Microsoft Windows is how to Alt-Tab between running applications.  It’s a much quicker way of switching between your programs than pointing and clicking and after a while it becomes like second nature.

Russian Symbian developers EQ Soft are trying to replicate this feeling with EQ AltTab for S60 3rd Edition.

EQ AltTab should really be called EQ Pencil-Hangup, as those are the hotkeys it uses by default, Perhaps that didn’t sound as good.

The app is highly configurable, and you can exclude certain apps from the tasklist and make EQ AltTab auto-start when you turn on your phone.

One caveat is that the app has not yet been signed – you will need to get it signed yourself if you want to install it.  There are instructions for signing Symbian apps here.
