The ZTE Cube phone

zte-cube_300.jpgReally we don’t know anything about this phone except that we have this photo which shows a device that can be folded into a cube shape, thanks to its three hinges. There is a screen (not shown in this photo) and the best idea we can come up with is that you could wear it as a bracelet. But other than that, it just seems to be one of those oddities thrown up by the Mobile World Congress. We’d guess it’s some sort of technology demonstrator. As for ZTE itself, the Zhong Xing Telecommunication Equipment Company is China’s second biggest telecoms outfit and has had a US operation in Texas since 1998.

About Jon Jordan
After an early sojourn in the music industry - working with little known bands such as Snow Patrol (wonder whatever happened to them?) - Jon has now probably forgotten more about games than he knew in the first place. That's why he's ideally placed to find out new stuff as Pocket Gamer's Editor-at-large as well as editor of PocketGamer.biz.
