We just heard about Nvidia’s all conquering smartphone chip, Tegra, at the start of this week and already some videos showing off what it can do are starting to filter through. Integrated into an unnamed touchscreen device, it seems the Tegra is packing some serious heat (even though it uses much less power than its peers).
Here it is showing off its user interface (which apparently comes as part of the package) with the snazzy looking RayGun Navigator application from Planet 9.

Not much in the way of how it will revolutionize the connectedness aspect of mobile devices then, but impressive nonetheless. We’re are seriously looking forward to see which manufacturers pick up this chip for their next smartphone.
