Good news, fans of salty processed-food snacks. Pot Noodle has got its very own mobile site, which can be found by tapping potnoodle.mobi into your phone’s browser.
It includes a bunch of videos, including the infamous ‘Tipping Pot’ viral, which has been watched more than two million times on the web, as well as offering up ringtones, competitions and the trademark Pot Noodle humour. Interestingly, it’s the first time Unilever – which owns the Pot Noodle brand – has launched a mobile site.
Will people really visit it repeatedly though? If the videos are funny enough, they might. I’d be tempted to bookmark it if I get a voucher for a free Bombay Bad Boy every week, but I’m guessing that would be defeating the point of launching a site to get me to buy more Pot Noodles…
