The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog has managed to snap up an exclusive look at an as of yet unannounced handset, code-named Remi.
There is all sorts of speculation about the phone’s form factor and lineage going on, but so far as we can work out, the more solid details about the handset are that it is an ultra thin candy bar packing HSDPA and a 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus.
By the look of the thing, we’d say it’s likely that the device incorporates some classy materials such as aluminum, and up next to the earpiece there seems to be a front facing camera too (though it could be a sensor of some sort).
There’s no denying that the device bares an uncanny resemblance to the Walkman branded W890, but decreeing that the appearance of the very similar looking Remi, sans Walkman branding, somehow marks the end of Walkman branded handsets (as some blogs are doing) seems like a bit of a stretch to us for the time being.
More details and pics as soon as they arrive folks.
