BlackBerry Bold is now on sale… in Chile!

The BlackBerry Bold is perhaps the most anticipated BlackBerry handset yet, with business users and gadgeteers alike holding off on upgrading till their operator gets it in. The good news is that one operator has. The bad news (for most of us) is that it’s Movistar in Chile. That’s right, the Bold is making its debut in Latin America, for a reasonable-sounding 299,990 Chilean pesos. That’s around 300 quid, although you have to sign up to a two-year contract. Plus the air-fare costs. Maybe it is better to wait for it to go on sale in Europe after all…
