Mophie mobile Juice Pack for iPhone

Other than the well documented grumbling about MobileMe, activation problems, lack of Bluetooth tethering and the way the App Store is locked down tighter than a very tight thing, perhaps the chief issue most iPhone users have with their new toy is the way it needs to be charged so often.

After a few hours of constant web surfing – easy to do when you are drawn into the loveliness of Safari – you might find the iPhone a bit. juicy.

Mophie have stepped in with a 3G version of their aptly-named Juice Pack – a portable battery charger that for once doesn’t look like a horrible ganglion clinging to the side of the handset.

The Juice Pack 3G sits behind the phone, all ergonomic and applesque, so as not to ruin the fine lines and curves you have paid all that money for.  It can provide up to 350 hours of standby power, 6 hours of internet or talk time and 28 hours of audio.

Available for pre-order now, the Juice Pack will be on sale from September for $99.
