DataCase turns your iPhone into a portable drive with web server/FTP

Oh, now this is useful.  Although Apple has made it impossible to mount the iPhone as a USB drive, new App Store app DataCase has gone one better and will let you connect pretty much any computer to your phone or iPod Touch and copy files to and from a shared area.

Mac users will just see their phone appear as a local networked computer, but Windows/Linux types can use either an FTP client or a web browser to access the phone.  Its a great idea and for only $7 it sounds like a must-buy.

Here is a quick video showing just how simple it is to use under Windows XP.
