The iPhone! Surely the world’s most desirable handset, right?
Not so in Poland, apparently. In what seems to be an attempt to duplicate the ‘iPhone madness’ that greted the Jesus Phone’s launch in the UK & USA, Orange has reportedly hired dozens of actors to queue up ‘excitedly’ outside its Polish stores.
This is faintly sad, and does make you wonder how many of the crowds in previous launches were legit mebers of the public and how many were paid shills.
Image from Appleblog.pl which also has (unles I am mistaken) shots of the advert posted to attract the actors to the iPhone gig.
