The general consensus on the iPhone camera is that it is ‘pretty good, considering’. If you like photography, you may find it a bit limiting and wish that you had something with a bit more of an organic, analog feel.
Enter CameraBag – this little $5 app will let you take photos using your iPhone’s camera (or pick them from the gallery) and instantly process them so that they look as though they were taken by one of seven classic cameras.
Among the camera effects are the smoothly B&W ‘Ansel’, hipster show-off’s friend the ‘Lomo’ and the washed-out retro ‘Helga’.
There is a CameraBag Flickr group where you can share your creations – or just check out what the app can do.
