Pink gets her own Funhouse iPhone app

Singer Pink is hoping her new album Funhouse will be a hit, but she’s also hoping to take the App Store charts by storm. Her label Sony BMG has released a branded iPhone application, called P!nk’s Funhouse.

It’s got preview clips of the new album, as well as news, photos and links to buy the singer’s back catalogue. Naturally, it’s free – you wouldn’t expect to pay for this kind of promotional app. Still, it’s a pretty innovative idea by Sony BMG, and is one of the first times an individual artist has got their own iPhone app.

  1. Hey Stuart,

I think you’ve got the spirit of the P!nk App dead on, but you’ve glossed an important point. I think the P!nk App is the first artist themed app in the App Store. This is important to us at aurnhammer llc, because we worked near 24hrs a day for two weeks to make P!nk first.

I’m still tired and my kids don’t recognize me anymore, but I’m pretty sure we pulled it off!

    Thank you for review,

    Cheers,
