Hang on, this can’t be right. MacWorld was last week and as inevitable as the wild gadget theorising is, it always stops once the keynote has come and gone, doesn’t it?
Well, maybe the lack of Steve Jobs wasn’t the only weird thing about this year’s expo. Even as the stands are packed away, rumours are still swirling about concerning a possible new iPhone model that just wasn’t quite ready for a Macworld release but which may show up later in the year.
Two Taiwanese manufacturers are allegedly bidding for the chip contract, the phrase ‘iPhone nano’ has been seen in some developer’s services and there are unconfirmed reports that China Mobile has asked Apple to provide a limited version of the handset for the Far East market.
