Apple rejects Kama Sutra app, takes position against sexual content

Developer Iliya Yordanov has confirmed that Ananga Ranga has been patently rejected for approval by Apple.

The iPhone app, which chronicles dozens of sexual positions outlined in the Kama Sutra, will not appear on the App Store due to explicit sexual content.

Yordanov wrote to us about the reasons behind the rejection, telling us that Apple made it clear that it was a fundamental objection to the app’s content.

“Even though they now have parental controls, Ananga Ranga is too graphic,” he explained. “I asked what’s that and he told me it’s because the app shows sex scenes.”

As we reported in our first look, Ananga Ranga details 50 different sexual poses using anatomically accurate 3D models. It’s those models–a bare-chested woman and nude man drawn mid coitus–that are drawing controversy.

Offering to censor the images contained within the app, Apple insisted the app would still be rejected. “I proposed that we blur/pixelate the intimate parts of both the male and the female models, but he [a representative of Apple] told me that won’t do it, because the app will still imply sexual acts.”

Yordanov continues, “So, generally, he told me there was nothing we could do to get Ananga Ranga at the App Store.”

The advent of parental controls seemingly covers mature content, though not sexually explicit material. Knocking back a few using Drink & Cocktail Pro is cool, but ix nay on the bump and grind. Sorry boys and girls, back to the old-fashioned hardcover version of the Kama Sutra.

Let’s see, ugly bastards at APPLE are unable to have sex, like all the religious freaks around the globe, especially the ugly Christians.

This way APPLE stated that if their staff is unable to have consesual sexual intercourses with goodlooking people, they will deny to everybody they can, to watch the Kamasutra.

It is unplausible that these iodts at APPLE stated in a such serious way, that Kamasutra shows two naked peole of different sex, having sex.

WOW, hext time APPLE probably will deny to show people eating tasteful food, becosue APPLE staff is not only ugly, but also fat as hell.

The two naked humans depicted on the KAMASUTRA program are not even human, they are two CGI rendered dummies.

I never heard such BULLSHIT since today.

Thanks Pocket Pics, thsi is soimething that was missing from my knowledge about how much religious assholes freaks are at APPLE.
