Google Gmail mobile application

Experienced mobile emailers will know that you can already use Google’s Gmail email service from your phones (if you didn’t, simply point your phone’s browser at the address http://gmail.com). But Google has now released a Java application which makes the whole experience easier and more whizzy.

Officially, it’s only available in the US, but I’ve just downloaded it for my Nokia N70 in the UK, and it’s working fine. To get the application, point your WAP browser at the address http://gmail.com/app and if your phone is supported, you’ll be able to download it.

Not sure what phones can access or not. I can view other web pages though. I just can’t sign in.
