Get Yahoo on your Nokia Series 40 phone

yahoogo.jpgYahoo has been doing mobile stuff for a while now – for example, it’s Yahoo Go application which lets you check email, instant message and upload photos to the Yahoo Photos service. But it’s previously only been available for Symbian handsets.

However, Yahoo has just signed a deal with Nokia to put the application on the latter’s 6300, 5300 and 5200 phones, which all use the Series 40 operating system, with many more phones scheduled to be supported in the future. From the announcement, it appears this version may only be the mail and messaging elements, but it’s still good news.
