The satnav systems that read out your texts

nuvi.jpgWeird, innit. As mobile phones take on some of the whizzy navigation features of satnav devices – see Nokia’s N95 phone – so the satnavs are fighting back by… reading out your text messages! Garmin has announced that its nüvi 660, 360 and 360T as well as its StreetPilot c550 are all now able to pair with your phone via Bluetooth, and then read out any text messages that you receive. Which if your friends’ SMS grammar is as atrocious as mine, could be a pretty strange experience.
