Now this sounds cool: an application that turns your Symbian phone into a webcam. All you do is install the application on your handset, while also installing its driver on your laptop.
Then, when you want to videochat with someone using your PC (e.g. Skype, MSN Messenger etc), it connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and takes a direct feed from its camera. The idea is that you don’t need to carry round a separate webcam with you. Mobiola Web Camera costs £10.95 from Handango.

Looks like it only works with some Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones at the moment.

I have samsung sgh e 730…pretty awesome phone but mobiola won’t work on it…and I see some nokias far less in quality do work…when will there be a program like this that’s compatible with samsung phones?

ive installed mobila 3rd edition USB on my nokia n95 but it doesnt seem to be workin on windows live messenger…. ? is it because ive only got the trial version? and if so does anyone know where i can get the crack from???
Check out SmartCam, released under GPL is available from https://sourceforge.net/projects/smartcam. Currently tested on Nokia 6600, the project can grow to support Series 60 3rd edition phones.

Just downloaded the free version and it does what it says on the tim-it works. going to try it on skype then buy the full version. The website will test your phone to see if it will work

well if you are trying with a cracked version it won’t work cause every phone has a different id ditedted by the software when connected with bluetooth or USB
