This is another One-Seg pony, dear readers, but it can do a trick if you throw it carrot (by which we mean, throw it an antenna). The problem with One-Seg is: how can users get a reception to justify the hype behind Japan’s new-ish digital satellite TV service? The solution, according to NTT, is to produce a phone that has an attachable antenna where you might opt to insert a pair of earphones. The choice is left with the user, of course, but the results on the D903iTV’s 2.8-inch display are said to be crystal clear, providing fans of Japanese TV with a visible reason to upgrade. The D903iTV goes on sale in Japan on February 16th.
